Netzer South Africa Summer Machaneh is our biggest and best event. Every year, Netzernicks from all over Southern Africa travel down to Glencairn, Cape Town for the best 2 weeks of their lives. The Camp site is situated right near the beach, only 10 minutes away – if you listen really carefully at night, you can hear the waves crashing on the shore.

The channichim are split into 4 age groups, each with their own awesome madrichim, there to make camp as exciting, challenging and interesting as possible. Over the 2 weeks we have a jam packed schedule! From Beach Time, to Pool Time, to enlightening Shabbat Services and the massive battle of Colour Wars between the Red team and the Blue team, Netzer South Africa Machaneh is definitely the best way to spend the December Holidays. Fun, sunshine and the best friends you could ever ask for. These 2 weeks are for chanichim in grades 4 – 12.

We also have a short Mini Machaneh running concurrently for channichim in Tipot (Grades 1-3), which is only applicable to Western Cape families, or families who will be in the Western Cape during the time. They have their own schedule and highly trained madrichim to make sure that Machaneh with Netzer feels like a home away from home.

Channichim in Grades 10-12 also have the option of joining us for Rearguard at no extra cost. Rearguard is a chilled environment with the older members of Netzer. We have our annual Kinnus discussions and more in depth peulot, as well as hadracha training.
