This month, we’re Spotlighting our visit to Gqeberha with the SAUPJ.

Over the weekend of 3 to 5 March, Ezri from Netzer with members from the SAUPJ, Rabbi Emma and Rachael visited the progressive community in Gqeberha, previously Port Elizabeth. They ran programmes and services throughout the weekend, and socialised with the local community. The Gqeberha Temple Israel community is a wonderful community with many enthusiastic people participating. We met a plethora of wonderful people. Ezri ran the kids programming on Friday evening and Saturday morning whilst Rabbi Emma and Rachael ran the Friday evening, Saturday morning and Havdallah main services. The visit to the community was a great experience for all involved!
